Steve and Zaxis are my go-to contracting company. I’ve had them out for a wide range of projects over the years, including: installing concrete steps, extending my block wall and adding a man gate, removing a load-bearing post and replacing it with a structural beam to open up the space, framing and drywall work, a full master bathroom remodel, a complete kitchen gut and remodel, window replacements down to the studs, and even a full shop/barn build. Finding a reliable company that takes pride in their work and truly cares about the quality of what they put their name on is rare—and that’s exactly what I’ve found with Steve and Zaxis. Steve and the guys from Zaxis are awesome! I have been using them for going on 20 years for my rental portfolio as well as for remodeling and repairs on my personal residences. Competent, Professional, Timely, Trustworthy - they have it all and are simply the BEST! And, as someone with a fairly large rental property portfolio, I've dealt with many, many contractors. I've had many bad ones and a few good ones over the years, but Zaxis is consistently EXCELLENT! Roofing, flooring, HVAC, remodeling, plumbing, electrical, big jobs and small, they do it all and they do it right! And they do it on time and on budget with no surprises! And the employees are all top notch, trustworthy dudes, just like the owner. He does not tolerate substandard work and most importantly doesn't tolerate nor hire screwballs or scumbags! You can trust his crew with your home and family! Zaxis kicks Axis!!!

Zaxis has been by far the most honest and accommodating contractor we've found. In a world of sketchy and downright dishonest businesses they are truly the cream at the top. He only employs the best, most conscientious employees and subcontractors (who have always been on time for meetings/work, a major plus in my book). Steve, the owner, has always been available when needed during the job and after. He's a man I am pleased to know and have worked with. I have and will always recommend Zaxis to anyone who's looking for a contractor.
