Custom Residential Retaining Wall Father & Son Masonry, Inc. built a block retaining wall on our property, and it turned out better than we expected. The wall is straight, solid, and well-finished, and the site was left clean every day. They were professional, responsive, and clearly experienced with structural block work. These guys are courteous, professional, reliable, they care about the job and are excellent craftsmen.  If I ever need retaining walls these are my go-to guys, hands down.  You will not be disappointed. Sorry for taking so long to write this review guys!  We are currently building our new house.  The most important thing to us was to get to a SOLID foundation for the house we are building, starting with the retaining walls.  We got lucky choosing Father & Son Masonry for that job.  They built us about 600 linear feet of retaining walls last summer.  The walls range from 2ft to 8ft tall.  Tiered walls in some areas.  These are site walls holding back the hillside, and walls holding up the house.  Our back patio now attaches to some of these walls.  They are friendly, helpful and readily available by phone or even a pop-in office visit.  Excellent eye for detail.  They noticed and brought to our attention that the plans called for stepped walls along the side of the future pool area when we intended for that area to be flat.  They figured out how to fix that issue.  We got several other great ideas from multiple guys on their crew related to the wall and other parts of the build.  Thanks guys!  When the job was done, all the walls are super straight, clean, solid, uniform and will be there long after I am dead and gone.  We also hired them to waterproof the walls. They are properly licensed (CR31) and qualified to do the job.  They are honest, they care about your job and doing the best work possible.  Payment was due incrementally, after work was performed, not some huge down payment like some try to get.  That shows they are an established company that they can fund the materials until they have done some work to be paid for.  If I ever need retaining walls again, I will absolutely hire Father & Son Masonry!   We have gotten several compliments on how well built the walls are and will refer people to Father & Son Masonry whenever the opportunity arises.  Thank you, David, Ricardo and crew!  You're awesome!

We contacted Father & Son Masonry, Inc. for a structural block wall repair after noticing cracking and movement. From the first inspection, it was clear they really knew what they were doing. They took the time to explain the issue, provided a detailed plan, and handled everything professionally. The crew was punctual, organized, and respectful of our property.
