1992 Billy Johnson/Amberwood Homes built our first Semi-Custom home. We lived in that home for 10 years. In that 10 years time, we never had one single problem. No leaks, no drywall cracking, no grout cracking, no tile cracking, no patio/walkway cracking, no pests.....heck...I don't think I even changed a lightbulb the first 8 years we were there!! Our home was built in an area of Gilbert with VERY expansive soil. I have been a Realtor for 24 years and "Cracking" is expected and typical in every home.....however, in 10 years....we had NONE! As our family grew, we were looking to upsize. We found a 4 year old home built by Billy Johnson/Amberwood, right down the street from our current home. We LOVED the idea of staying in our neighborhood. We purchased the home and lived there for almost 18 years. A few years before we moved, it was finally time for new carpet....the house was almost 20 years old!!! The carpet held up through kids, dogs, parties and so much more! When we installed new carpet, our installer said he could not believe what great shape the carpet was in considering the age. Now that's HIGH QUALITY! When we replaced the carpet, we had our cabinets refinished as well.(Not because they needed it, only because we wanted a new color) Again, the contractor doing our cabinets said she could not believe the cabinets were 21 years old. She said, "They look brand new!" Again....it's amazing how long things will last when they are of high quality!! After 18 years, we were ready to downsize. When we were packing to move out, we still had the original 22 year old roof and HVAC~ when the home inspector for the Buyer inspected our home, he found them both to be in good shape! Another GOLD STAR for Billy Johnson/Amberwood! We downsized into a tract home in Eastmark. We have had disappointments and problems since the day we moved in. I think sometimes we don't value and appreciate something until we don't have it anymore. I would do anything to move back into either one of my previous Amberwood Homes. They may not be brand new like the home I am in now, but they are made 100 Times Better and with 100 Times higher quality materials. Thank you Billiy Johnson for my first two homes! Will you please build me another one!?!?!?! ~ Michelle L.

My experience with Amberwood was nothing short of upfront and forthright. Billy and his staff were very helpful throughout the entire process not to mention the quality of build and attention to my personal desired design and added features. I recommend Amberwood with high marks to anyone interested in a quality fine custom home.

Amberwood Homes took care of me and my family, building our dream home! Every single employee I dealt with within the company was helpful and friendly through the process. They took the time to take care of every piece of the puzzle for us, and listen to everything we were wanting. billy Johnson has been building homes in the valley for a long time, and his experience was incredibly helpful, as he was able to thoughtfully guide us through the plan and design phase very well! Note in the previous negative review, that the reviewer is not reviewing Amberwood Homes as a home builder, therefore, take that review with a grain of salt. Amberwood is a company that cares for its customers, and absolutely will build you a beautiful home! You will not go wrong with them!

I purchased my Amberwood Home in 2007 in the Sunrise Meadow community in Chandler Az. The process of building my home was seamless. From working with Denny to design the home, to working with the construction staff at the home, to working with the project managers. My final walk through went off without a hitch, and move in day was exciting! My custom home was just as we had expected, and the quality of the home was impeccable. Working with Amberwood Homes was a great decision for me and my family. We couldn't be happier with Billy Johnson and his staff at Amberwood Homes.
